Beginner Jewelry: Polymer Clay Earrings

Maybe work-from-home has had you using your oven a little more? Maybe a little less? (No shame in all those take out orders!) Well get ready to fire it up for a whole new reason with our very first earring class.

Wait, you make earrings in the oven?! If they’re made out of polymer clay, yes!

Join us for this fun, fresh new workshop and learn how to turn oven-bake clay into unique earrings using just a few tools and your endless imagination! Mix colors, create patterns like gradients and marble and even learn how to add texture and layered elements to your one-of-a-kind creations. Get ready, because you and your new earrings are about to OWN those Zoom meetings!

And don’t worry if you’re a little pressed for creative inspiration, we’ve whipped up some ready made template shapes to take the pressure off and make sure you’re creating something chic and totally on-trend!

In just two hours you will:

  • Learn how to condition and work with polymer clay
  • Design your own earring templates using tracing paper and cardstock
  • Cut, shape and bake your pieces
  • Learn how to finish, assemble and turn your clay pieces into wearable art (aka: earrings!)

This is a beginner friendly class so no previous jewelry or clay craft experience necessary!

Note: Any brand of oven-bake clay will work, and you will need an oven that can reach a temperature of 275 degrees fahrenheit.
